View Energy Saver Tips

Heat pumps are the most proficient form of electric heating in restrained climates, providing three times more heating than the corresponding amount of energy they put away in electricity. Heat pumps are classified into three: air-to-air, water source, and ground source. All of them accumulate heat from the air, water, or ground outside your home and deliberate it for inside use. Heat pumps do two duties as a central air conditioner. They can also chill your home by collecting the heat inside and efficiently pumping it outside.

There are some tips that you can use your heat pump and save your energy at the same time.

First, do not set the heat pump's thermostat yourself if it causes the electric resistance heating to come in. This kind of heating that is mostly used as a back up to the heat pump is more expensive.

Second, sanitize or change the filters at least once a month or as needed and preserve the system as per the manufacturing instructions. For long term saving tip, if you will be using an electricity to warm your home and live in a moderate climate, consider the idea of installing an energy-efficient heat pump system.
